You must provide adequate attribution, as prescribed in the following paragraphs.
Depending on the medium it will vary how you're able to credit the author, however as long as the author is credited, and the license under which the music was made available is clear it's at an acceptable minimum. Since most use our music for online video, we've provided you with an example of how to attribute the musical work suitable for a video description: As you will notice, the attribution text is specific to the track "Escape from the Temple" that you're currently viewing.
Music used: Escape from the Temple by Per Kiilstofte
Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International
We're aware that in some cases it may be impossible to provide attribution, or maybe you would just like to not have to deal with the hassle of adding credits to a YouTube description.
For those cases we've added the possibility to buy an "Attribution Waiver". This means the artist waive the requirement for you to provide credit. Every other aspect of the CC-BY
license is still in effect.
The attribution waiver you buy is a legal document that is added to your account which is uniquely stamped and personalized. The waiver is immediately available for download from the "My Downloads" section in your account. If you don't have an account yet, it will be automatically created upon purchase.
